Dreamweaver Lesson 6. Designing animated buttons and icons. Developing a navigation bar. Creating multiple event rollovers. Using layers in PhotoShop for the on/off positions.

1. Rollovers -
(We will follow the exercises in the book)
Rollover Rules: The icon states must all have the same height and width. For looping animated rollover gifs, check "preload rollover image". Keep unchecked if the animated gifs plays only once.
1. Creating a Simple Rollover.
2. Animated Rollovers.
3. Creating Pointer Rollovers.
4. Creating Multiple Event Rollovers.
5. Creating Flash Buttons
6. Inserting a Navigation Bar Rollover.
7. Inserting a Simple Rollover from Fireworks.

2. Critique of Websites -
We will evaluate and experiment with creative ways to modify and improve your website projects.


HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT:
1) Read Chapter10 of the book.
2) Create animated rollovers for your website that have THREE states. (up, over, and down). You MUST use an animated GIF for the OVER state (see page. 351).
3) Do any additional tweaks advised during the critiques.
